WELCOME TO UPP!
COME TO OUR 2014 KICK-OFF
A new procession season begins!
Come learn about UPP and our vision for 2014!
There will be art, history and science at the workshop. We will start with a hands-on art activity, then hear presentations on the displaced
neighborhood "across the tracks" and an update on environmental remediation. Everyone, all ages and degrees of prior involvement, are
welcome to attend. We will provide coffee, tea, and bagels. Bring your friends and neighbors!

OUR 2014 PROCESSION
We are planning an evening procession this year! The tentative date is May 17, 2014. The procession will take place in and around
the Huntington Industrial Park, on the northwest shore of Mashapaug Pond. This year's workshops and culminating procession will
focus on the diverse neighborhood that evolved on the site of the industrial park in the early 20th century, as well as the
environmental challenges the park faces today. Along with our usual cast of characters, shadow puppet theater and handmade lanterns will light up the night. Check out our fall 2013 newsletter to learn more.
